Export to Microsoft Excel^®

SmartDraw automatically creates a .SDR file when you save your visual (How?). You can also save your visual as a Microsoft Excel^® file using the Quick Access Toolbar or SmartDraw Menu.

Export Using the Quick Access Toolbar

To quickly export your visual to Excel^®, use the Quick Access Toolbar, located at the top left corner of the screen to the right of the SmartDraw Button.

Click the button to export your visual.

If a workbook in Microsoft Excel^® is already open, your visual is placed into it. If a workbook is not open, a new workbook will open with your visual on the first sheet.

Export Using the SmartDraw Menu

You can also click on the SmartDraw Button , located in the top left corner of the screen. Position your cursor over Export, and click Excel^® in the list that appears.
